Tecsee Blue Sky Linear Switch

Introduction

The Tecsee Blue Sky Series consists of two switches - the Linear and the Tactile. As with newer releases from the brand, both Blue Sky switches utilize their proprietary HPE material, a blend of UHMWPE which we prefer due to the unique ‘solid’ feeling and acoustics. It shares the smooth push feel that we’ve come to know and love from UHMWPE, but without the soft and muted sound associated. The stem is also similar to that of other modern Tecsee switches, with a slightly shortened 3.8mm travel which boosts bottom-out sound without sacrificing much travel distance. 

In our opinion, the Blue Sky Linear is a combination of the best that Tecsee has to offer - all of our favourite features from the brand are in one switch. It just feels complete if that makes sense, a package that is smooth, neutral sounding, comfortable to type on all at an affordable price point. It is especially perfect for those who want all the benefits of a long pole switch, without the associated change in feel and potential discomfort. We personally use the Tactile variant in a Singa75 paired with an aluminium plate, a match made in (keyboard) heaven.
