Wuque Studio MMSwitch Pastel Series Switch Components

Introduction

The MM Switch is less of a switch and more of components to build your very own, think of it as a Lego MX kit. Designed by Wuque Studio and manufactured by JWK, the MM Switch consists of 3 housing and 4 stem options, each made with differing materials. As a result, a total of 36 different combinations can be made through the mix-and-match of top housings, bottom housings and stems. Each variant exhibits its own sound and feel, albeit slight. Many who have experienced the MM Switch have used the components to build a full MM Switch, while others use specific components to make their own frankenswitches - especially with Cherry housings. 

On its own, the MM Switch is a standard and no-frills linear which just works as intended. There are no fancy gimmicks or standout features, except for the fact that the stems are slightly elongated to give a more pronounced and meaty bottom out sound. Smoothness is good right out of the box with zero lube, but an additional layer would tighten things up both in terms of sound and feel. Overall, the MM Switch is an excellent tool for both newcomers and veterans; it offers a perfect platform for learning about popular materials like POM and UHMWPE, while also serving as an affordable source of modding parts for experienced enthusiasts.
