KTT Cabbage Tofu Linear Switch

Introduction

KTT is a switch brand synonymous with providing exceptional value, with switches that perform incredibly well even with their more affordable pricing. Despite only gaining traction within the last couple of years, KTT has been around for far longer acting primarily as an OEM/ODM manufacturer. Their rise to fame began with their mass-market offering of 3-pin switches, most of which shared the same housing and stem designs, only varying in colour, material composition and springs. This recipe allowed KTT to lower pricing through shared moulds, and allowed users to have a variety of colours to choose from while still having the same guaranteed pleasant experience. 

The KTT Cabbage Tofu is a light linear switch with a polycarbonate top and nylon bottom, making it sound lower pitched than full polycarbonate KTTs like the Red Wine. It sounds neutral yet with an added layer of depth, thanks to the signature extended KTT stem that produces an apparent bottom out sound without much change in total travel distance. Feel wise, the KTT Cabbage Tofu produces a very consistent resistance throughout the keypress, with the use of an elongated 22mm spring as opposed to the standard 15.5mm unit. As a package, the KTT Cabbage Tofu offers unbeatable value as with the rest of the switches in its line - offering all the benefits of a long pole switch with none of the potential discomfort.
